Opening of a new phase of applications to the Incentive System to Innovation – Notice nº 02/SI/2012_SI Innovation_Productive Innovation

SI Innovation promotes productive investment projects which can result in the production of new goods and services or in the adoption of new technological and organizational processes or innovation in markets. The investment orientation in favor of tradable activities and the efforts of portuguese companies towards external markets, is a priority and determines where to focus, instruments of QREN that stimulate business competitiveness.

Typology of the Projects to be supported
The innovation investment typologies to be supported (point a) and b) number 1, article 5 of Regulation of SI Innovation), are as follows:
1. Production of new goods and services or significant improvements of current production through the transfer and application of knowledge (point a) number 1, article 5 of Regulation of SI Innovation;
2. Adoption of new, or significantly improved, processes or methods, of production, logistics and distribution, as well as organizational or marketing methods (point b) number 1, article 5 of Regulation of SI Innovation);

Budget Appropriation
The global budget appropriation assigned to the present Notice is of 120 million Euros divided as follows:

Scope
All Continent NUTS II regions.

Application Deadlines
Between 27th February and 26th April of 2012 (24 hours)

“PAC after 2013"

The Agro-Industry Cluster of Ribatejo and Nersant held a workshop on the subject “PAC after 2013 – Impact on raw materials production for the agri-food industry”

In a global market Agro-industries have on agricultural produce a strong Partner! Is it possible that in 2013, PAC reforms, will contribute for a competitive sustainability of companies? It was within this framework that, the Agro-Industry Cluster of Ribatejo held a workshop on the 06th July in the auditorium of Escola Profissional of Salvaterra de Magos, on the theme of “PAC after 2013 – Impact on raw materials production for the agri-food industry”. The main intervention was given to Professor Francisco Avilez, Emeritus Professor of Instituto Superior de Agronomia, Scientific Coordinator of Agroges and Coordinator of the Group of Experts for the Reform PAC after – 2013. It was presented the most recent developments of PAC and future scenarios in relation to its impact on agro-industry.

 This session was held in a partnership with Agroges and Nersant-Associação Empresarial of Santarém region, has been supported by Direcção Regional de Agricultura e Pescas of Lisboa e Valae do Tejo and Escola Profissional of Salvaterra de Magos.

This theme was the starting point for a series of Workshops on the same subject, but directed to different agricultural and agro-industrial sectors, namely, Rice, Tomato, Corn and Olive Grove to take place in different dates. The Engineer Carlos Lopes de Sousa, Managing Director of Agro-Industry Cluster of Ribatejo, opened the session, together with the Doctor Salomé Rafael, President of Nersant.

Fair international - Alimentaria Barcelona 2014

The Agrocluster Ribatejo will participate on Alimentaria Barcelona 2014 - International Fair and it will take place on 31-03 th of April in Barcelona, Spain. This a Professional Trade Show will be held over four days.
